Question by The Wise Flounder is Fishy: What are some diets that lowers and control insulin levels?
I have Acanthosis Nigricans. I’m not sure if I’m diabetic. I want to get checked soon. I heard that if my insulin levels are over active, it will trigor my skin disorder. Please, don’t tell me to go to the doctor… I AM going to go. LOL I just want more information about diets to lower my insulin levels. What should I expect to deprive myself of?
LOL “DR.” How do you know I don’t have an over active pancreas without running a test on me?

1. maybe, the symptoms of A.N., do not pertain to diabetes.
2. One of the causes of Migraine is over functioning of Pancreas; which U do not have.

3. Type-2 diabetes means—-under functioning of pancreas, i.e., it is working to some extent.
Type-1 diabetes means—-total failure of pancreas to produce insulin.

Symptoms & Characteristics of acanthosis nigricans include:

Skin changes. Skin changes are the only signs of acanthosis nigricans. You’ll notice dark, thick, velvety skin in body folds and creases — typically in your armpits, groin and neck. Sometimes the lips, palms or soles of the feet are affected as well.
Slow progression. The skin changes appear slowly, sometimes over months or years.
Possible itching. Rarely, the affected areas may itch.

Acupressure techniques & Indian natural remedies can cure diabetes/acanthosis nigricans.
