Photophobia reduction in Post-concussive Syndrome – Microprism application — Steve is a 42-YOM, 9 months post-trauma. He was photophobic in the extreme, using a magic marker to make his sunglasses darker to be tolerable. He was loaned a pair of microprism demonstration lenses, and he stopped asking people at his residential rehab center to turn off lights and stopped complaining about the computer used in his cognitive therapy. We then prescribed him his own lenses. This clip is a progress visit done two weeks after receiving his Rx. His response to this treatment is remarkable, in his own words, decreasing in pain level from 6-7 (on a 7 point scale) to a one, for the present. It is significant that his case management nurse and family also noted that his vestibular and gait skills have improved. (See the separate video:
