Yes, the suicide hotline is run by people who are happy to help you with depression, since it often leads to suicidal thoughts.

Most of them allow that and welcome it but I have included a link below for depression hotline numbers to call 🙂 I hope it helps. Talking to someone almost always helps, it worked for me and many others.
