Can You Tell Me About Depression and Prosac?

I have been on prozac for about three months now. Originally I was on 20mg but was bumped up to 40mg. I found once I went up to 40mg I started progressively feeling better.
At some point after a few weeks I hit a peak that was very short lived and am now on a backward slide that has me back to where I was or even worse off.
I have lost 60 lbs over the last year and am having mild headaches daily.
Has anyone had similar experiences with depression and “treatment”?
I am getting pretty hopeless here. I know this is not a place to seek advice or treatment, I only want to know if others have experienced similar symptoms and .effects.

prosac sucks. it really does. i was on it and hated it. try zoloft. its much better!
