Nasal Surgery for Congested, Clogged Nose 24/7?

Question by nick i need help: Nasal Surgery for congested, clogged nose 24/7?
I am 20 years old male. I have had nose problems for as long as I can remember. I had surgery in May of 2008. I had a nasal septoplasty. My nose is completely clogged / stuffed up. I have 1 side clogged up 24/7 and it keeps switching. I have tried every nasal spray, decongestiants, antihistimines. etc.. Including Prescriptions and none have helped, except for 4WAY NASAL SPRAY which is over the counter and they have stopped making it. I have very little left. Is there anyone who has the same problem as me? What helped for you? I live in Las Vegas, NV and it is VERY HOT. It’s so bad I can’t sleep at night without using the nasal spray before I go to sleep and 1x or 2x while I’m asleep and I wake up not being able to breathe.

The Doctor said the surgery would completely fix my breathing problem. It didn’t after I had the splints taken out he hid behind ” It takes a year for full recovery. ” So I waited another year and I’m still not better. He said he can’t help me and says I should go to UCLA. I saw another doctor who also didn’t know what to do, and he was older and seemed like he was about to keep falling asleep.

Do you have nasal polyps?
Have you had all the tests to see what allergies may be causing the problem?
If you haven’t seen a GOOD ear/nose/throat specialist, find one and see him.

I had the same problem for years, saw doctors in several different states and had eleven (11) surgeries for the problem.before finding a guy who could fix it. For me it takes the following:
1) No smoking & no alcohol
2) Three different nasal sprays used twice a day, two sparys per nostril each time, every day. They are
A. a saline/menthol/eucalyptus cleansing spray
B. D.A.B. spray, a triple antibiotic spray specially made a a compounding pharmacy
C. Flunisolide, a prescription shrining spray
3) Medrol tablets, 4mg each, taking one on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. This is a dangerous prescription drug, but it lets me breathe.

Your case may be totally different. I do not suffer from allergies.

If you want to know more, you can e-mail me. Good luck!
