I Think I Might Have an Eating Disorder?

Question by : I think I might have an eating disorder?
So I’m pretty sure I have an eating disorder. I exercise every day for 1.5 – 2 hours, and I don’t eat during the day. I eat dinner, then binge eat on the same amount of the same food every night, so I sort of do so much exercise to “support” my binge eating (aka I burn the calories from my binge eating so I don’t gain weight, which makes it okay to binge eat — does that make sense?)

Anyway, I’ve gone from 117lbs to 107lbs in 5 months — I’m 5’2″

I’m not underweight yet, but I need to get control of this “eating disorder” before I am. Is what I have an eating disorder? I feel guilty about eating when I can’t exercise, and I am constantly thinking about food. How can I stop this cycle of compulsive over-exercising and then binge eating? I have a psychologist I talk to about other issues but I’m not comfortable talking to him about this. Are there councellors/psychologists etc that specifically work in this area (eating disorders)?

Thank you.

Your body goes through natural changes throughout periods in your life. If you want to stop the weight loss, why not do less exercise after your binge eating? it’s all about balance.
